Biography

Temidayo Danel ADENIYI, is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, University of Ilorin with ten (10) years university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

His specialties are histopathology and neuroscience while the research areas are cellular neuroscience, environmental health, genomics, and drug discovery. His research has focused basically on heavy metals pollution burden on the waterways, neurodegeneration associated with environmental pollutants and drug discovery using a combination of ligands from indigenous herbs.

He is a biomedical scientist with many years of experience in immunohistochemistry and histochemistry. He is passionate about filling knowledge gaps and solving health problems, especially neurodegenerative disorders. He is fellow of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria, associate member of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria, member of the Society for Cellular Pathology Scientists of Nigeria, and member of the Anatomical and Neuroscience Societies of Nigeria.
