An adaptable IT expert and administrative professional with a strong foundation in office coordination, digital record management, and data analytics. Currently, I serve concurrently as an IT Officer at the Nursing Department, an ICT personnel in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, and a Casual Secretary/IT Expert in the Provost’s Office at the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin. This multi-faceted exposure has sharpened my ability to juggle competing priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. In the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, I manage ICT infrastructure critical to diagnostic training and research. This includes maintaining laboratory information systems, overseeing computer-based test (CBT) facilities, and providing prompt technical support to faculty and students, ensuring that technology enhances both learning and clinical simulations. Across all departments, I manage digital records, organize extensive filing systems, and ensure seamless document retrieval for administrative and academic purposes. I provide frontline IT support troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues so that faculty and staff can focus on their core responsibilities without technical disruptions. I also coordinate virtual meetings, webinars, and presentations using platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, bridging communication gaps in a hybrid work environment.

Beyond routine IT support, I take pride in my role as a strategic enabler of office efficiency. I draft memos, official reports, and meeting minutes; I compile data and prepare presentations that inform high-level decision-making. My experience liaising with external bodies and other university departments has honed my professional communication skills and reinforced the importance of confidentiality, timeliness, and clear documentation. I approach every task, whether scheduling appointments for the Provost or troubleshooting a network outage, with the same commitment to reliability and precision.

In a significant expansion of my professional portfolio, I have recently taken on the role of Communication Officer at Emmanuel Nik & Gold, working under the prestigious World Bank IDEAS TVET Project. This initiative is part of the World Bank’s broader effort to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) systems across Nigeria, equipping young people with market-relevant skills for sustainable livelihoods. In this capacity, I am responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that amplify the project’s impact, engaging stakeholders across government, education, and industry sectors. I craft compelling content from press releases and success stories to social media campaigns and project reports—that showcases the transformative power of skills development. I coordinate with project partners, document best practices, and ensure that the project’s achievements are communicated effectively to diverse audiences. This role has deepened my understanding of development communication and reinforced my commitment to using media and technology as tools for social impact.

My technical toolkit is further strengthened by formal certifications. I hold a certification in Data Analytics for Local Government Administration and an Online Researcher Certification from LA PLAGE META VERSE. These credentials enable me to move beyond passive IT support toward active data interpretation, analyzing trends, synthesizing complex information, and presenting actionable insights that drive better operational decisions. I completed the DiSCET program at the Digital Bridge Institute, which grounded me in core ICT principles and practical problem-solving. Currently, I am pursuing a B.Sc. in Mass Communication at the National Open University of Nigeria, a course of study that enhances my ability to craft clear, compelling narratives, whether in official correspondence, public presentations, or internal communications.

My professional journey has also given me diverse operational experience. Earlier in my career, I supervised day-to-day activities at a computer training institute, where I managed IT equipment, coordinated training schedules, mentored instructors, and delivered hands-on sessions in Microsoft Office Suite, Desktop Publishing, and Basic Networking. That role taught me how to lead teams, manage inventory, and maintain excellent customer relations under pressure. I also worked as an operator at the University of Ilorin’s Water Treatment Plant, where I monitored water quality parameters, adjusted chemical dosages, maintained detailed logs, and collaborated with engineering teams to troubleshoot mechanical faults a role that demanded strict adherence to safety standards and environmental guidelines. That experience reinforced my versatility and my ability to learn technical systems quickly.

Outside the office, I am an avid reader who values continuous learning, a traveler who draws inspiration from new environments, and a fish farmer who understands that patience, consistency, and system-thinking yield long-term rewards. These personal pursuits mirror my professional philosophy: sustainable growth comes from building resilient structures, adapting to change, and maintaining a clear vision.

I am now eager to channel this blend of technical aptitude, administrative discipline, analytical thinking, and communication expertise into a dynamic operational or project support role whether within a forward-thinking organization or alongside visionary leaders like Joy Lam. I bring not just skills but a mindset: I see systems, I solve problems, and I build clarity out of complexity. My goal is to be the reliable backbone that empowers teams to focus on their highest-impact work while continuously refining the processes that make excellence possible.
