Research Interests
- Epidemiology of Parasitic Diseases: Focus on the prevalence, diversity, and risk factors of gastrointestinal parasites (Helminths and Protozoa) in both animal and human populations (One Health approach).
- Diagnostic Parasitology: Interest in improving diagnostic techniques, including microscopy and molecular methods for identifying parasitic infections, including malaria and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).
- Public Health and Parasitology: Investigating parasitic contamination of food, water, and the environment to assess public health risks.
- Vector-Borne Diseases: Interest in the study of vectors and the diseases they transmit.
